SIMPSON SHELTER /
MINNEAPOLIS TRIP
is scheduled for June 7-9. We
will leave the church Saturday morning at 7:30am. We will stop at the
Minneapolis Zoo and then head to UM Camp Kingswood where will be staying. On
Sunday we will go to The Mall of America for the afternoon. Then we will be
serving supper at the Simpson Shelter (check out the shelter at
www.simpsonhousing.org). Monday we will spend the day at Valley Fair before
boarding the bus to return home. We will be back in Huron around 10:00pm. This
promises to be a fun-filled weekend. Make plans to join us! The cost of the
trip is $100

Quilting Day
scheduled for May 20 from
9:30 – 4:00pm.
An invitation is extended to
all of those interested in helping
quilt baby blankets that will be used in the
baptismal faith chests.

REVIVE Youth need your help with
"Revive"
Aluminum
The Sr. High is asking you
to save aluminum cans to help them raise money for their global mission fund.
The cans WILL BE COLLECTED
on the LAST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH.
Due to lack of storage, it
would be helpful if cans would be dropped off only during the designated pick up
time. THANKS

Methodist Weekend Motorcycle Ride
Riders will
leave from the church that Friday after work and travel
through Northeast SD. If you would like to join this weekend ride,

WOMEN
OF
FAITH
- 2008
A Women of Faith trip to St. Paul, MN is
planned for October 17th and 18th. A bus will leave our parking lot at
8:30 AM on Friday and we should be home between 11:00 and midnight Saturday.
Cost is $112 -150 (varies for # in room). Save $10 by pre-registering for
the trip by May 16th with a $75 down payment.
